Kayla Gross is in the final semester of her four years at Jennings County High School. She took a few moments to answer some questions.
Q: Who are your parents/guardians, grandparents and siblings?
A: I am the daughter of Melissa Gross. Kevin Gross is my brother and Lauren Gross is my sister.
Q: Which elementary school did you attend?
A: Sand Creek Elementary
Q: What’s your favorite class and why?
A: AP Art is my favorite class because I can freely create what I want.
Q: In what extracurricular activities do you participate?
A: I’m on the Academic Team.
Q: When you’re not in school, where’s your favorite place to be and why?
A: I love to be at my friend Kaleb Down’s home.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Bananas are my favorite.
Q: What has been your greatest high school memory?
A: I loved the Academic Team competition last year. It was chaotic and crazy.
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: I’m going to Ball State University to major in drawing.
Q: Who in your life has inspired you?
A: Ms. Charlinda Evans inspires me to be a good student.
Q: What is the most important thing you’ve learned from high school?
A: I learned how great having friends and being involved in school is.
Q: What is your workout routine? Any part that you don’t like?
A: That is still a work in progress.
Q: What do you want to accomplish next year?
A: I would like to have a good job on campus.

A: Just hanging out with my friends.

A: Creative, loud and proud.
