Heaverin Glenn Douglas, 81, of Seymour, died at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
He is survived by his wife, Ella; children, Larry, Steven, Cynthia, Ted Allen, Danny, Kenneth and Lindsey, Shelly, Belinda, Amanda, Doug Jr., Ashly, Glenn Jr., Kevin, Azure and Araya, Harold and Josiah; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service with Pastor Randy Lankford officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour. Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the Voss Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
