NASHVILLE — Brown County pushed across a run in the bottom of the sixth Wednesday and held on for a 9-8 win against Edgewood.
Maddy Edds went 3 for 4 with a double, a home run and four RBIs for the Eagles (12-5). Allison Stogsdill went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBIs, and Emma Summers went 2 for 4 with a triple.
Vicky Kelp threw a seven-hitter in picking up the pitching victory.

NASHVILLE — Brown County was held to three hits Wednesday in a 15-2 loss against Edgewood.
Logan Ceeckler went 2 for 3 with two RBIs for the Eagles (4-14). Noah Ryan had the other hit.
