Cummins, Inc. will offer Bartholomew County residents a chance to recycle a wide variety of items free at the company’s seventh annual Community-Wide Recycling Day. The event will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 22 at the Columbus Engine Plant, 500 Central Ave.
More than 100 volunteers from Cummins will help local residents as they drop off wastes such as cardboard, antifreeze, glass bottles, tires and batteries, and electronic waste such as computer components and televisions.
