Rose B. Romine Ramsey, 98, of Indianapolis, died at 6:17 a.m. July 10, 2017, at Franciscan Health Indianapolis South.
Rose was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Frank Floyd and Edna Ruth Quick Romine. She married William L. Ramsey and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Rose was a 1940 graduate of the Colorado Women’s College in Denver and loved to travel the United States and Canada. She enjoyed yard work, jig saw puzzles and word search puzzles.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Vanderbur officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Steve Ramsey of Indianapolis, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; brothers, Wayne Romine, Earl Romine and John Romine; and two sisters, Lavah Tuttle and Althea Redwine.
