Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. has issued a boil-water advisory through noon Wednesday for residents who have been without water in the Northgate Addition and surrounding area.
A water main break caused the outage, which resulted in the need for the boil order, utility officials said.
Customers should boil their water for one minute, let it cool, and store it in clean containers with covers for drinking, cooking, making any prepared drinks or brushing teeth.
