The movie “Columbus” showed up for download on iTunes a day earlier than expected, giving local residents a chance Friday to get a copy of the movie and additional movie footage that didn’t make the film.
The film, shot in Columbus between July 31 and Aug. 20, 2016, sells for $12.99 and includes bonus features such as director Kogonada’s documentary, and deleted scenes from locales such as the Crump Theatre and Hamilton Community Center Ice Arena.
The movie, by Kogonada and starring John Cho and Haley Lu Richardson, has been shown in more than 115 theaters nationwide, including an extensive run in Columbus. More than 8,000 tickets were sold locally for the movie.
