3 reappointed to city Human Rights group for 3 years

Three men on the city’s Human Rights Commission have been re-appointed to three-year terms.

Greg Lewis, Tony McClendon and John Stroh will serve on the commission after being re-appointed by the Columbus City Council.

Lewis, who has been on the commission since 2005, is a teacher at Columbus East High School and serves as chairman of the social studies departments at East and Central Middle School.

McClendon, who was also first appointed to the commission in 2005, works for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. as its director of multicultural diversity. He is also a pastor at Faith Ministries and has been active in various coaching positions within BCSC.

Stroh, a lawyer at Sharpnack, Bigley, Stroh & Washburn LLP law firm, was initially appointed to the commission in 2006. He was named chairman of the panel effective April 1 and has served in different capacities, including church youth leader, school volunteer, professional actor, juvenile probation office, among others.
