Ivy Tech commencement set for Saturday
Ivy Tech Community College Columbus will have its 48th commencement at 10 a.m. Saturday at Columbus North High School gym.
More than 1,000 credentials will be awarded this year, including 317 associate degrees, 443 technical certificates and 248 certificates.
Student performs with wind ensemble
A Columbus resident who attends Trine University recently performed with the school’s wind ensemble during its spring concert.
Bernard Woon, a mechanical engineering major, performed with the wind ensemble on tuba during its presentation of “An Afternoon on Broadway.”
Student initiated into Greek honor society
A Columbus resident attending Franklin College was recently inducted into a Greek honor society.
Abigail Jones, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, was among 14 students inducted April 2 into Franklin College’s chapter of Order of Omega. She is the daughter of Brandon Jones and Jennifer Kimbler.
