Cyclists invited to Atterbury Honor Ride

Hundreds of cyclists will participate in the 2018 Atterbury Honor Ride on Saturday.

The annual event is sponsored by Project Hero, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitating veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD and TBI.

The ride starts and ends at Camp Atterbury Rail Operations, S. 325 E, in Edinburgh.

Kickoff is 6:45 a.m. with a pre-ride ceremony at 7:30 and official start at 8 a.m.

Live music, entertainment, food and refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the ride. To accommodate riders of all skill levels, there will be three noncompetitive routes offered of 27, 40 and 63 miles.

Same-day registration is $50. Wounded veterans ride for free.
