The Time For Three classical-rock-jazz-everything-else strings trio already has promised a freewheeling performance for the 7 p.m. Friday Live On the Plaza concert, the Columbus Area Arts Council’s annual free, signature event. The group never has been accused of being bland, and they seem especially gifted at merging classical works with almost anything else under the sun in the modern world. Ever wish that walls could talk? They will, in a manner of speaking, at the Bartholomew County Historical Society’s Open Door Tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, among 13 eclectic sites in downtown Columbus. The local nonprofit hopes to attract 500 people and raise $20,000 for the resurrected tour being presented for the first time since 2010. Tickets: $20 in advance and $25 by Saturday. Children 10 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
