Indiana State Police troopers will be collecting tips from Texas Roadhouse customers in Columbus to benefit the Special Olympics of Indiana from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Over the years, Tip-A-Cop events have raised $2.5 million for the Special Olympics, and each donation is used to raise funds and awareness for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Texas Roadhouse customers are encouraged to place their donations in an envelope marked for the Special Olympics and leave them with troopers as they exit the restaurant.
