City improvement ideas to be reviewed at July 9 session

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The prospects of a downtown grocery store, a conference center/hotel and connectivity among city parks will be reviewed during the next Envision Columbus strategic planning meeting.

“All of these continue to be explored in greater detail,” said David Rubin, principal of DAVID RUBIN Land Collective, which is leading the study. “We’re hopeful of getting a good turnout and a range of citizenry.”

The 6 p.m. July 9 public-input meeting, the third in a series of three, will be held at Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St.
