Streets to close for band invitational
Several traffic restrictions will be in place for the Mid-States Marching Band Invitational Sept. 8 at Columbus North High School.
During the event, 27th Street will be closed between Home Avenue and Maple Street.
In regard to safety concerns for the nearly 3,000 visiting students and spectators, those wishing to attend Saturday Mass on Sept. 8 are asked to use the north entrance to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church parking lot from Home Avenue. Access to 27th Street will not be available for churchgoers the day of the invitational.
