The first woman to chair the Indiana Democratic Party will speak at the Bartholomew County Democratic dinner this month.
The Sept. 18 event at the Donner Center, 739 22nd St., will feature Ann Delaney, the first female candidate for Indiana lieutenant governor. Doors for the event will open at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m.
DeLaney previously served as campaign manager and legislative director for former Indiana Gov. Evan Bayh and was also deputy prosecutor for Marion County.
