Trinity tops South Decatur
GREENSBURG — Class A No. 5 Trinity Lutheran won the battle of the Cougars on Monday night with a 25-10, 25-13, 25-17 win at South Decatur.
Hannah Sabotin pounded 11 kills and two blocks, and Kamzi Gross recorded six digs and six aces to lead Trinity (21-8). Bailey Reynolds notched 18 assists. Abby Schult added seven kills, and Paige Lawrence served five aces.
For South Decatur (6-16), Lana Bell and Madison Owens each pounded four kills, Hannah Ballard recorded seven assists, Sam Goodfellow had two blocks and Karah Biddinger notched 13 digs. Brook Somers, Savannah Bushhorn and Whitnye Burton all served one ace.

Monrovia ousts Eagles
MONROVIA — Brown County saw its season come to an end with a 3-0 loss to Monrovia in the first round of the Class A Monrovia Sectional.
The Bull Dogs outshot the Eagles (4-13) 22-15. Jeffrey Carlberg recorded 19 saves.
