The Columbus East and Columbus North high school marching bands will participate in Indiana State School Music Association marching band events this month.
The Columbus East Olympian Spirit marching band will be among the schools participating in the ISSMA scholastic preliminaries open class invitational today at Whiteland Community High School.
East is slated to perform at 2:15 p.m., while it also plans to participate in the ISSMA scholastic finals at Lawrence Center High School on Oct. 20.
The Sound of North will compete at 7:14 p.m. Oct. 13 during the ISSMA regional competition at Center Grove High School.
North is also slated to perform Oct. 27 during the ISSMA semi-state contest at Ben Davis High School and again on Nov. 3 during the ISSMA’s state finals marching contest at Lucas Oil Stadium.
