Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies are at the scene of a semi accident in the southbound lanes of U.S. 31 near Washington Street.
A semi struck a guardrail and toppled down an embankment in the accident, deputies said.
The accident happened at around 6:49 a.m. and the southbound lane of U.S. 31 remains closed in that area.
