Through March 31 — Avenue of the Architects Exhibit. Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St. Enjoy this ongoing exhibit of photographs and illustrations about Fifth Street in Columbus. Mounted by the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives. Open during library hours.

Through April 30 — Xenia Simons Miller gallery exhibit, Gallery 506 at the Visitors Center, 506 Fifth St. Miller was a patron of modernist art and architecture.

Through May 3 — Abstraks & Ambiguities. Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave. Artist Cathy Williams describes herself as a mixed-media expressionist painter who weaves eccentric stories within portraiture and abstract figurative works. The concert is free and open to public, with doors opening one half hour prior to concert. 5 — First Fridays For Families: “The Dwarfs’ Tale of Snow White.” 6 p.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St. First Fridays for Families is a free family entertainment series that introduces young audiences to a wide variety of performing arts in a fun, informal setting. From enchanted animals and an evil witch to the infamous magic mirror and a troupe of rambunctious storytellers, experience this classic fairy tale as told by the seven dwarfs and performed by Dancers Studio. 6 — Mystery Cruise. 6:30 p.m., St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2461 California St. Come on board a cruise ship to a dinner in which you must solve a mystery. It will be an interactive meal in which clues are served at each course, and participants must solve the twists and turns of the story, with prizes for the winners. This event, organized by Granny Connection, will assist African grandmothers caring for children orphaned by AIDS. 7 — Spring Tea for Two! 2 to 4 p.m., Donner Center. $24 per mother/daughter pair (each additional person $12). Spring Tea for Two is for mothers with daughters ages 3 to 8. Wear your spring finery and enjoy an afternoon in our spring garden. We’ll decorate our own teapot planters, discover butterflies and go on a spring garden treasure hunt. 13 — Pride Celebration. Noon to 4 p.m., downtown Columbus, Fourth and Washington streets. Come celebrate the second LGBTQ Columbus Pride Festival, held for members of the LGBTQ community and allies. 13 — Asleep At The Wheel. 7:30 p.m., Brown County Playhouse, 70 S. Van Buren St., Nashville. Ten-time Grammy-winning kings of western swing from Austin, Texas, Asleep At The Wheel sold out their last two performances at the playhouse. 14 — Columbus Symphony Orchestra: Familiar Faces. 3:30 to 5 p.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St. The music will feature the symphony’s Concertmaster Phil Palermo and Music Director Josh Aerie performing Brahms’ Double Concerto, with a special guest conductor. 20 —The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic: Tchaikovsky & Beethoven. 7:30 p.m., Columbus North auditorium, 1400 25th St. Australian-born violinist Susie Park joins the orchestra for Tchaikovsky’s spirited Violin Concerto. From the antics of Barney Fife (Michael J) to original stand-up routines by Joey I.L.O. who plays Otis, these two form a funny and versatile show. 3-5 — Civil War Days. Yellow Trail Museum, 644 Main St., Hope. Free. Hours: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday; 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday; 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday. The Hope Chamber of Commerce and Yellow Trail Museum invite you to step back in time to the American Civil War. Friday stop by the town square to watch as re-enactors set up camp for the weekend. On Saturday enjoy a historic walking tour of the Moravian Cemetery, speakers and a variety of activities throughout the day. Sunday listen to a historic church service in the square.
