No injuries reported when Jeep hits pharmacy

Columbus police are investigating an accident involving an SUV that hit a Columbus pharmacy.

Officers were sent to the CVS Pharmacy at 2423 N. National Road at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

Officers spoke to the driver of the Jeep, Sherri L. Inman, 60, Columbus, who told them she had inadvertently pressed the vehicle’s gas pedal while parking the vehicle, Harris said.

Inman’s 2015 Jeep Wrangler struck the north side of the building, causing several thousand dollars worth of damage, Harris said. There were no injuries, police said.
