Panelists to discuss an educated workforce

IUPUC is hosting a panel discussion titled "Strengthening the Community through an Educated Workforce: A 50-Year Commitment to Building Brighter Futures for All."

The event will be at 6 p.m. May 2 in the Columbus Learning Center Lecture Hall and is free and open to the public.

Aligned with IUPUC’s 10-year Welcoming Campus strategy, the panel discussion is being presented as part of IUPUI’s Welcoming Campus Initiative, commemorating IUPUI’s 50th anniversary.

Moderator for the event is Kathy Oren, executive director of the Community Education Coalition. Panelists include:

  • John Burnett, CEO of the Community Education Coalition
  • Drew Klacik, senior policy analyst at the Indiana University Public Policy Institute
  • Daniel Noel, Columbus Regional Health director of clinical talent
  • Srikanth Padmanabhan, Cummins Inc. vice president
  • Jim Roberts, Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. superintendent
  • Amy Conrad Warner, IUPUI vice chancellor for community engagement
