COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus residents may be wondering about the loud booms that are coming from Mill Race Park in downtown Columbus.
A Civil War re-enactment group is doing presentations for about 400 Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. students with blanks as ammo.
Prior to this year, the presentations were done near Parkside Elementary.
The re-enactors have permission from the Columbus Parks Department for the presentations.
