Orchids to …

• a great friend, Brad Smith, who I can always count on in my time of need, for mowing my yard two weeks in a row after working all day.

• the Trump administration for doing such a great job of making America great.

• Mr. Moe at Parkside for all he does, because it is appreciated.

• Democrats for maintaining their integrity in pressing forward with their investigations.

• Nancy Pelosi for saying she’s praying for Donald Trump.

• all Schmitt Elementary School staff for all they do every day for the kids, touching the lives of the children and helping my son grow and learn this past year, from Ashley Travis.

• the Harrison Township Fire Department from for making the last day of school so much fun, from the ABC Stewart students.

• The Republic for bringing me a dry paper when my first one was wet.

• custodians, doctors, nurses and volunteers everywhere, and people who stuck with me, including my husband, the preacher and the preacher’s friend, through all that I’ve been going through.

• all the cooks and cafeteria workers, school teachers and social workers, all hospital employees and Columbus Regional Hospital and St. Francis’ Center of Hope in Indianapolis, and all those who helped save my husband’s life and my life.

• the Bartholomew County Humane Society staff and volunteers on a job well done, from a regular visitor.

• the kind person who put all the six cases of water in my car for me at Rural King on Monday

• the Gibson brothers for being great carpet layers and better people.

Onions to …

• the man in the silver SUV on Youth Camp Road that cursed me for telling him to slow down while a storage shed was being delivered.

• those who fail to understand that those created equal and given certain unalienable rights such as “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” includes women.

• the president who has not released his tax returns.

• to the city for another consultant.

• those who don’t appreciate that sending out voter registration verification cards identifies phony voters because those verification cards get returned to the secretary of state’s office by the post office.

• all of the Democrats who post here, because they need to understand that Donald Trump is their president.

• the president who weaponizes the taxpayers’ checkbook to pay farmers (his supporters) when his ill-advised tariffs impact them negatively.

• organizers of a local food festival for not doing enough publicity to let everyone know it is coming up soon.

• Democrats in Congress who can’t get anything done except whine about Trump.

• the person who whined that Trump may be conducting illegal activities and bashing Democrats for wanting to protect our country from foreign influence.

• Democrats for trying to blame Trump for the failed infrastructure meeting.

• the city having nothing better to do than spend money on a river for people to swim in that is dirty and is always going to be dirty.

• the gated community for not trimming trees and shrubbery around the lake.

• liberals who want more persecution of the president when he’s been cleared in four separate investigations already.
