Variety show closes season

Broadcaster Sam Simmermaker will emcee the final free Donner Park Variety Show of the season at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Donner Park shelter house near 19th and Lafayette streets in Columbus. The headlining act includes the musical group of Allan Eddelman, Gary and Cami Kincer, and Bob Tompkins. Local singer Guy Paranavitana will perform Frank Sinatra tunes.
