COLUMBUS
Jeremy S. Whittington, 40, of Columbus, passed from this life at 8:37 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Columbus Regional Hospital Emergency Room.
Mr. Whittington was born November 16, 1978, in Columbus, the son of Tom J. Boston of Elizabethtown and Pam L. Whittington of Columbus.
Jeremy was owner of Central Roofing and he enjoyed demolition derby with his son, hunting and the Indianapolis Colts.
Survivor include his parents; son, Austyn S. Whittington of Columbus; fiance, Jessica Davis; brother, Josh Yates of Columbus; sisters, Ciara Boston of Greenwood, Jaydann Boston of Columbus and Elaina Boston of Columbus; his dogs, Buster and Daisy; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Caleb Whittington.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Charles Kennedy officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and at 9:00 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
