Columbus police arrested a local man on numerous charges after he was spotted inside a condemned home overnight.
Officers were sent to the home in the 1500 block of Union Street at about 4 a.m. today, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
A short time later, the officers spotted Timothy K. David, 48, inside the house, Harris said.
David was taken into custody without incident and while searching his clothing, the officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, and several pills, Harris said.
David was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital for medical clearance and later taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a legend drug and residential entry.
