COLUMBUS
Marylou Roberts, 77, of Columbus, formerly of New Jersey, passed from this life Friday, October 25, 2019 at her home.
Marylou was born November 26, 1941 in Binghamton, New York, the daughter of George J. and Mary Teresa Schabilon Gundlah.
She was married to Richard A. Roberts who preceded her in death June 5, 2015.
Survivors include her daughters, Suzanne (Tom) Reitsma of CT, Cheryl Bauer of Pennsville, NJ and Jo A. (Todd) Nelson of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Shaun and Frank Bauer; great-granddaughters, Skylie Bauer, Alexis Handrinos; sister, Laraine (Lindsey) Simpson of Spring Lake, NC; brother, George M. (Cathi) Gundlah of Chandler, AZ.; and a former son-in-law, Frank Bauer III;
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Bauer.
In keeping with Marylou’s wishes, cremation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to one of Marylou’s favorite organizations, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
