Hope residents Brian and Kim McKinley purchased Elsbury’s Greenhouses from Gordon and Nancy Elsbury who opened the business in 1973.

Columbus City Council unanimously granted tax abatement on a $43.6 million expansion by NTN Driveshaft to help the company deal with an increased product demand.

1970

Terrace Lake Subdivision, annexed to Columbus in mid-December, officially became part of the city after the mandatory 30-day waiting period.
