Orchids to …

• our church for praying for President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and Gov. Eric Holcomb.

• EMS personnel Gabriel, Ethan and Steve for treating our mother with dignity, respect and a nice dash of humor.

• my sisters, Marilyn, Judi, and Kay, for going above and beyond for my birthday gift, from Dean.

• very kind lady who offered money to me as I stood and counted out my nickles, dimes, and pennies, and the cashier who took me through the subserve and inserted a $1.85 worth of pennies, nickles, and dimes into the machine for me and offered me four more pennies since that is what I needed.

• Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church for movie night, from the Krebbs family.

• Krebbs Towing for helping our son with his car, from the Smith family.

• the city of Seymour who should receive the national city award for their foresight in installing a baby box.

Onions to …

• local honor rolls that pretty much include everyone, yet many cannot pass tests that test competence.

• the person who thinks the federal elected official is truthful and honest.

• the driver who drives the extremely loud Honda — there are people suffering from dementia, cancer and people that work all hours of the day and night.

• parents selling their children’s Girl Scout cookies for them, what happened to teaching children responsibility?

• elected officials who ignore the meaning of truth, honesty, integrity and oath.

• demonstrators in Washington D.C. for embracing the devil.

• the school system for ignoring and not discussing the impact of raising property taxes on rental home owners, which are properties already taxed higher compared to a house with a homestead exemption.

• the elected official who clearly demonstrates what is so terribly wrong and immoral about a political party.

• people who don’t realize if guns weren’t so readily available and easy to obtain it would obviously be much harder for crimes and accidents involving guns to take place.

• To the employee at the grocery store who came right out and said it’s not his job to help customers.

• those that don’t remember the federal elected official first started calling himself a “stable genius” in January 2018 in response to concerns that he was not mentally fit for office.

• those who don’t think our rights are “God-given,” try reading the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

• the city for making the taxpayers pay for the maintenance and upkeep of the dilapidated FairOaks Mall.

• the person willing to help sanctuary cities for illegals despite it being a federal crime to aid illegals in any way.

• the federal elected official’s lawyers who lie just like he does.

• the neighbors who have left a TV in their trash for the last six weeks when it is obvious they are not going to take it.

• the people that say a basketball player is an American hero, what war did he fight in?

• the person that blows their nose while people are trying to eat.

• myself for cutting in line at the meat counter last Friday night about 6:30 p.m.

• the political party for endlessly pushing phony scandals in the hope that voters will not notice that they favor weak borders, late-term abortion and higher taxes.

• city leaders for promoting filling in floodplains for personal gain.
