An error made by an Indianapolis printing company transposed two numbers on property tax bills and created a flurry of phone calls to the county auditor’s office from confused property owners.

Members of Mill Race River Rats began coordinating a massive cleanup project to remove decades of unused items from basement rooms and other areas inside the Crump Theater.

Arvin Industries announced the layoff of nearly 500 workers at its muffler and tailpipe plant due to a Teamsters lockout in the Chicago area that prevented steel shipments.
