The Lasting Impressions senior theater troupe is filming a Veterans Day video tribute that will be available to watch on Nov. 9 on the Mill Race Center Facebook page and its YouTube channel. It will be billed as “Voices Honoring Veterans.”
Normally, the group would have been preparing a popular, live dinner theater performance — one that has often sold out multiple presentations — but the COVID-19 pandemic has canceled such plans.
“The Lasting Impressions and Mill Race Center just could not let Veterans Day pass without honoring our country and our great veterans in some way,” said Donna Browne, director of the troupe.
Though the group has been rehearsing with masks, it is doing the filming without masks, Brown said.
Dan Mustard, Mill Race Center’s executive director, has coordinated the video work.
