Shirley Lee Folger King, 90, of Columbus, passed from this life at 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 25, 2020 at Homeview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Franklin.

Mrs. King was born July 14, 1930, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Carlos S. and Edna Earl Kimsey Folger.

Shirley was the former owner of Folgers Four Seasons and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Psi Iota Xi sorority and Zonta Professional Businesswomen.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Lee King-Cox of Columbus; son, Thomas Folger (Julie) King of Columbus; grandchildren, Patterson Folger (Laura) Cox, Christopher Stephen (Amanda) Cox, Andrew Kimsey Cox, Sarah Niccole (Jeff) Vedder, Ashley Ann (Ryan) Kaczmarski and Elizabeth Folger King; great-grandchildren, Dean Patton Cox and Carter Sutton Cox; niece, Susan (Tucker) Polito; nephew, Thomas (Mary Ellen) Snyder; and a great-nephew, Christopher Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carlos E. Folger; and sisters, Elma Jean Folger and Helen Elizabeth Snyder.

Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike.

A private funeral service will be held following the calling hours with John Roberts officiating.

Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people in our funeral home.

We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.

Burial will be Garland Brook Cemetery.
