ELIZABETHTOWN
Brenda K. Sprague, 67, of Elizabethtown passed from this life on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:36 p.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Sprague was born on April 7, 1953 in Columbus the daughter of James I. and Mildred M. Graham Pattingill. On December 30, 1971 she married Allen Lee Sprague.
Mrs. Sprague attended the Heart of Christ Ministries when she was able and watched the church services over the internet. She loved reading her bible, putting puzzles together, singing, and watching YouTube videos about baby monkeys. Most of all she loved her family and always wanted them close by.
Survivors include her children, Troy Sprague of Elizabethtown, Tamara (Michael Tiemeyer) Sprague of Elizabethtown, Tara (John) Coles of Columbus and Brittany Goble of Florida; grandchildren, Trey (Elizabeth East) Sprague, Sara Sue (Andrew Tarkett) Coles, Allen “AJ” James Coles, Tristin Warren; great grandson, Wesley East; and siblings, Roger (Donna) Pattingill, Gary (Kaye) Pattingill, and Trisha Burns.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Allen Lee Sprague on March 12, 2007.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:30a.m. at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Pastor Melissa Duncan officiating.
Family and friends may call for visitation from 10:30a.m till time of services at the funeral home.
Due pandemic restrictions we are limited to 50 people in our funeral home. We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing once inside the funeral home and masks are required.
Burial will follow at Ohio Chapel Cemetery.
