Albert Wayne Colvin, 70, of Edinburgh passed from this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 7:10 p.m. at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Colvin was born on May 21, 1950 in Columbus, Indiana the son of Clifford and Marjorie L. Park Colvin. Mr. Colvin proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS John F. Kennedy, he then went on to work as a Machinist and retired from Catalyst after 14 years of service where he was a CNC Machinist. Upon his retirement he enjoyed working at Goodwill. He was a member of VFW Post 24 and the American Legion.

Mr. Colvin was a proud patriot and enjoyed bowling and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his children, Brandi (Jo Bryant) Colvin of Edinburgh and Shane (Shelley) Colvin of Edinburgh; sisters, Mary (Glenn) Kinman of Columbus, JoAnn Colvin of Columbus, Brenda (Charles) Victory of Tennessee; grandchildren, Tyler, Allyson, Kristina, Anthony, Samantha, Joseph, Damian, Selena, Mackenzie, Makayla; 11 great grandchildren; his companion of 35 years, Linda Sue Newman of Greensburg; and step-children, Vickie Walton and Curtis McCreery.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, David Rowland.

In keeping with Mr. Colvin’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
