MADISON
Mary Louise Perry, 102, of Madison, formerly of Columbus, passed from this life at 11:02 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Jewell Place in Madison.
Mrs. Perry was born March 28, 1918, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Charles William and Minnie Hendershot Fivecoat.
She married Charles Hubert Perry June 27, 1936, who preceded her in death May 3, 1993.
Mrs. Perry was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include her children, Margaret “Peggy” (Tom I) Blades of Columbus, Betty (Jack) Eggers of Columbus and Barbara (David) Sage of Madison; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Max Perry; 5 brothers; 1 sister; a 1/2 sister; son-in-law, Hugh Gray I and a grandson, Hugh Gray II.
A private funeral service will be held at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Tyler Tolbert officiating.
We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
