Cecilia Ann Lay, 94, of Columbus passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Cecilia was born November 22, 1926 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Ballauf Mandel. She married Joseph M. Lay December 30, 1950 in St. Paul; he preceded her in death April 11, 2004. She loved to sew and was a very accomplished seamstress.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Don) Bundy of Greensburg, Pat (Val) Lay of Powell, Ohio, Nancy (Tom) Seal of Bloomington, Mike Lay of Greenwood, Kathy (Will) Watts of Columbus, Mary (Rocky) Byrum of Greenwood; brother, William (Donna) Mandel of St. Paul, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 10 siblings; 1 granddaughter.
There will be no services or visitation. Private inurnment will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
