COLUMBUS
Helen ZeBell, 85, of Columbus passed away 8:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Helen was born in Adair County, Kentucky June 24, 1935, the daughter of Charles and Sister Burton Bryant. She married Charles O. ZeBell June 11, 1977 in Columbus; he preceded her in death December 20, 2011.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Who So Ever Will Church in Edinburgh.
She is survived by children, Daniel Whittington of Hutchinson, Kansas, Rusty Whittington of Columbus, Jeff (Beth) Whittington of Columbus, Johnna Sullivan of Taylorsville and Sally (Robert) Anderson of Columbus; brother, Charles (Vanessa) Bryant II of Columbus; sister, Shirley Gallagher of Reno, Nevada; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband; several brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Robert Baldwin officiating. Visitation from 1:30 P.M. to service time. In keeping with CDC and Indiana guidelines, social distancing must be followed and masks are required. You may also be asked to wait outside due to the social distanced capacity of the funeral home.
