On Thursday, February 25, 2021, Amy Renae Whedon, loving mother of five children, passed away at age 37.
Amy was born on June 22, 1983 in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Cheryl Posey(Whedon) and Ronnie Burton. Amy was formerly married to Ray Smith, and together they raised their children.
Amy loved her children and enjoyed watching them grow up. Amy had many great friends, and her passion for making people laugh was always a joy for all of those around her. Amy enjoyed going to bingo, cooking, and visiting her friends and family.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie. She is survived by her five children; Davreon Whedon, Lakeevan Whedon, Deonte Miller, Javeon Smith and Deheavenlystar Smith, her mother Cheryl, and her five siblings; Larry Cross of Florida, and David Fields, James Posey, Keesha Stewart, and Shanda Posey of Columbus.
