COLUMBUS
Phyllis Ann Hole, 81, of Columbus, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility. She was born in Monroe County, IN on June 21, 1939 to James F. Robertson and Ruby M. Eads Robertson. Phyllis married James Edward Hole on December 30, 1961.
Phyllis graduated from Columbus High School and she retired from Irwin Union Bank and Trust Company. She was a member of East Columbus Christian Church, where she was involved with the Ruth Circle.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Ron Bridgewater officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to East Columbus Christian Church, Mission Fund or Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
Survivors include a son, Brian Hole of Columbus, IN; a daughter, Jennifer Grant of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Ryan Hole, Taylor Hole and Morgan Grant; a great granddaughter, Chloe Wilson and a nephew, Christopher Tompkins.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Edward Hole on February 17, 2021; a sister, Sharon Kay Tompkins.
