PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Wax Pattern Assembly Operator is responsible for performing start of shift checks on the wax injection machine, monitoring and adding wax to the heater when it is low, setting up dies to be used for parts injection, reading travelers & setting pressures and temperature as indicated, helping to monitor and maintain the injection machine, and cleaning & organizing the work area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select correct blade or hub die for parts to be injected
- Adjust pressure and Temperature as indicated on the traveler for the parts to be injected
- Check and fill wax heater if needed
- Inject parts as required
- After part
