COLUMBUS
Joseph “Joey” C. Knight, 47, of Columbus, passed away at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Joey was born August 27, 1973, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Joseph Knight and Hilda G. Harris.
Survivors include his children, Javon Knight, Jakeevon Knight, both of Columbus; granddaughter, Javina Gail Knight; siblings, Mike (Secenia) Harris, Dale Harris, Todd Harris, all of Columbus, LeVearne (Jay) Hagen, of Minnesota; longtime companion, Constance Gregory, also of Columbus; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Faith Hope & Love Church of God with Rev. Mike Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church. We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the church and masks are required.
In keeping with the family’s request, cremation will take place after the funeral service.
