JACKSON COUNTY, Ind.— The Indiana Department of Transportation will have nightly lane closures on the I-65 bridges over U.S. 50 at Seymour starting Monday. INDOT contractor Ragle Inc. will complete joint repair and replacement over a 20-day period.
Lane closures will take place on weeknights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting. No lane restrictions are planned on weekends. Law enforcement officers will be on-site as needed to assist with closures.
The $250,000 contract was awarded in January and is expected to be complete by the end of June. Similar work was completed last week on two State Road 45 bridges in Brown County.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
