Police seeking tips in battery, disturbance
Columbus police detectives are seeking information about a disturbance and battery this weekend that left a man in critical condition in the intensive care unit of an Indianapolis hospital.
Investigators believe he was battered with a baseball bat.
The incident occurred near the public restrooms and playground at Lincoln Park on Saturday, at approximately 7:40 p.m., said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
