Marketplace: Toyota Material Handling announces promotions

Toyota Material Handling (TMH) has announced the promotion of two key executives on the TMH management team. Bret Bruin has been promoted to Vice President of Aftermarket Operations and Josh Linnemann has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering.

Bruin’s leadership has been integral in raising the profile of Toyota’s industry-leading aftermarket product and service lines. During his tenure, Bruin’s responsibilities have grown to include the management of Toyota’s service parts sales and field service operations, Heavy Duty Truck aftermarket support, Toyota Lean Management and strategic account management. Bruin has also championed the recent consolidation of Toyota’s various telematics, e-commerce, and Fleet Management teams to form the company’s new Advanced Services Group.

In his new role, Linnemann will lead Toyota’s North American new product development engineering staff and advanced research, development and product testing teams.

“More and more, our customers are demanding unique solutions designed specifically to meet their needs,” said Jeff Rufener, TMH president and CEO. “Bret and Josh respectively have made invaluable contributions to our success. Their promotions reflect the significance of their achievements.”
