Great Plains Communications is providing fiber-to-the-home and business connectivity with the help of the Next Level Connections Broadband Grant Program to about 600 homes and 100 businesses.
The locations are in Columbus, Edinburgh, Flat Rock, North Vernon and Shelbyville.
The installation is underway and about 180 locations have availability now, with full project completion set for fall.
