Barbara June Coy, 72, of Columbus, IN passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Hospice of Southern Indiana. The Scottsville, KY native was a licensed CMA and former employee of Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Hospice of Southern Indiana and St. Francis Hospice. She was a member of Elevation Church Ministries in Scottsburg, IN. She was a daughter of the late Lloyd C. Brooks, Sr. and Catherine Mae Dillard Brooks. She is survived by 1 son: Chris Brooks and wife, Kim, Columbus, IN; 2 daughters: Dawn Pedigo and husband, Bill, and Angel Henderson, all of Columbus, IN; 1 brother: Joe Brooks, Franklin, IN; 1 brother-in-law: Jerry Graves, Franklin, IN; 4 grandchildren: Derek Pedigo, Bryan Pedigo, Katelynn Williams and Jonathan Pedigo and fiance’, Lex; 6 great grandchildren: Molly Pedigo, Ben Pedigo, Shi Pedigo, Warren Pedigo, Alice Mae Pedigo and Sylvia Grace Pedigo. She was preceded in death by a sister: Judy Graves; a brother: Sonny Brooks and a great grandson: Rory Jackson Pedigo. Funeral service will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Satterly officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.
