Lancers top Jets

EDINBURGH — Class A No. 5 Edinburgh hit 15 3-pointers Friday night and remained unbeaten with a 73-46 Mid-Hoosier Conference win against Hauser.

The Lancers led 17-9 after one quarter and built the lead to 36-25 at halftime.

Caleb Dewey led Edinburgh (6-0, 3-0) with 18 points. Jarrett Turner scored 16, Braylon Bryant and Travis Jones each had nine and Riley Palmeter added eight.

Bryce Bates led the Jets (3-2, 1-1) with 11 points. Koby Johnson scored 10, and Eli Miller added nine.

Horizon edges Crusaders

Columbus Christian led 34-32 after three quarters, but Horizon Christian rallied for a 63-60 victory on Columbus Christian’s homecoming.

Isaac Ridder led the Crusaders (5-4) with 22 points. Noah Edwards scored 17, and Peyton Rehlander added 10.

Panthers upset Pirates

GREENSBURG — Keegan Manowitz dished out 15 assists, and Jennings County went on the road and upset Class 3A No. 7 Greensburg 64-42.

Carson McNulty led the Panthers (5-1) with 16 points. Jacob Vogel scored 12, while Owen Law had 10 and Manowitz added nine.

Cougars rout Jackets

GREENSBURG — South Decatur jumped out to a 26-5 lead after one quarter and cruised from there to a 72-40 MHC win against Morristown.

Hunter Johnson scored 24 points, and Jacob Scruggs had 22 to lead the Cougars (3-3, 1-0). Dale Peters added nine.

Eagles fall to Clovers

CLOVERDALE — Brown County was within 41-39 after three quarters, but Cloverdale pulled away for a 63-47 Western Indiana Conference win.

Carter Kelly led the Eagles (2-4, 0-3) with 14 points. Kaydon Bellmore and Waylon Patrick each added 13.

Columbus Christian celebrated its homecoming with a 45-10 win against Horizon Christian.

Sarah Lorimor led the Crusaders (6-3) with 21 points. Madi Blair added 10.

Clovers stop Eagles

CLOVERDALE — Brown County was tied with Cloverdale 9-9 after one quarter, but the Clovers pulled away for a 36-28 WIC win.

Abigail Watson led the Eagles (2-11, 2-4) with 10 points. Kaite Tipton added eight.
