- All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles branches will be closed Saturday. A number of branches will also be closed Friday based on their normal operating schedule. - Columbus city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. All trash and recycling pickups will run on schedule. The city’s Department of Public Works will be closed Thursday and Friday but reopen at 7 a.m. Jan. 3.
- The Columbus City Utilities will be closed Thursday and Friday. Regular business hours resume at 8 a.m. Jan. 3. Customers with a water or sewer service issue should call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- Bartholomew County offices and the Bartholomew County Courthouse are closed Thursday and Friday.
