Wanda L. Gray

NORTH VERNON

Wanda L. Gray, 71, of North Vernon, passed from this life at 10:16 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at her home.

Mrs. Gray was born July 2, 1950, in Franklin, Indiana, the daughter of Noble and Florence Sullivan Matlock.

Wanda married Ed Gray August 27, 1975.

Mrs. Gray was employed alongside her husband at Gray’s Drywall.

She was an outdoor enthusiast, she enjoyed flowers, gardening and hunting with a bow.

She received several trophies and ribbons in competition with her bow.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and being in the sun.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years; her children, Rob (Kelley) Morse of Brown County and Josh Morse of Arizona; stepson, Brian Miller of Green County, Indiana; grandchildren, Ashley Bowling, Holly Morse, Joshua Morse, Oliva Morse and Brandon Morse; great-grandchildren, Tristan Bowling, Addie Bowling and Brylee Bowling; step-grandchildren, Ronnie Miller, Dillion Miller and Casey Miller; step-great-grandchildren, Layle Miller, Marley Miller, Kyler Miller, Kovie Miller and Addie Miller; brothers, Ray Matlock of Columbus, Rex (Barbara) Matlock of Columbus, Keith (Dolly) Matlock of Brown County, Ted (Dorothy) Matlock of Bloomington and her twin sister Donna Pennington of Brown County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David L. Morse and a brother, Richard Matlock.

The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. Gary Cave officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at New Bellsville Cemetery in Brown County.
