Peggy J. Epperson

INDIANAPOLIS

Peggy J. Epperson, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend entered into eternal rest at the age of 86 on December 25, 2021. A resident of Indianapolis she was born on October 30, 1935 in Columbus, Indiana to the late to Delbert P. King and Elizabeth King,

She was a member of Feline Conservation Federation where she worked helping rescue exotic cats.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, rescuing cats, going to the casino, watching football, especially the Colts and also watching the game show network.

She was employed at Vogel Brothers in Columbus before retiring in 2000.

Peggy leaves behind to treasure her memory, her son, Mike and Cindy Clark, daughter, Cathy Clark, daughter, Becky and Mark Stewart; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Phillip and Patty King; 2 nieces and 6 nephews and special friends, Bob and Patty Turner and Frances and Dwayne Sexton.

She was preceded in death by her companion of 50 years, Harold L. Epperson; two brothers, Delbert King Jr., and Joseph Allen King; and great niece, Kelly Jo King.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery.
